Take A Breath · Hold Your Breath · Exhale

One tap a day for how you feel.

Your profile holds a mood calendar. Pick one of five moods for the day, and the month fills in with color so patterns are easy to spot.

Moods stay on your iPhone. The calendar shows the current month and starts fresh when a new one begins.

Learning about the mind is not therapy.

Psychly is for education and self-reflection. It does not diagnose anything or replace a psychologist, psychiatrist or doctor. If something is weighing on you, a professional can help in ways an app cannot.

If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call your local emergency number or a crisis line now.

A few things to know

Is Psychly free?

You can download it for free. The first three courses of each category, and the first three articles, experiments and book summaries, are free, as are meditation, Imagine, Pomodoro, Breathe and the mood calendar. Premium unlocks everything else, and the app shows the plans and prices before you choose one.

Do I need to know any psychology first?

No. Psychology 101 starts at the beginning, and every course stands on its own, so you can read in any order.

Can Psychly diagnose me or replace therapy?

No. The courses explain how psychologists think about the mind, including disorders and treatments, but reading about a condition is not a diagnosis. The wellness score at the end of onboarding is a summary of your own answers. Talk to a professional about your mental health.

What happens to my mood entries?

They stay on your iPhone. You need no account, and the moods you pick are not sent to us or to our analytics services. The calendar shows the current month and starts fresh each month.

Was Psychly called something else?

Yes. It was Psychpedia, and on the App Store it is listed as UP⁺ until the new name ships. It is the same app.

Which languages does the app speak?

English, German, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese and Chinese.
